Carli Lloyd Received Offers To Kick In NFL Preseason Games

NFL Hall of Famer and former VP of player personnel Gil Brandt suggested that the Bears must contact Lloyd.
“Frankly, I really don’t think it will be long until we see a girl break through this NFL barrier. I would give her an honest tryout when I were, say, the Bears.”
The Bears have tried out nine kickers since the 2018 season’s end. Cody Parkey missed 10 field goals, including a in their 16-15 decrease in the NFC Wild Card round from the Eagles and the team has Eddy Pineiro as their solitary kicker.
“So many people are beginning to believe’will there be a female [participant ] in the NFL?” I think we are sort of as far empowerment.
I got some enquiries, I got folks talking. Whatever is possible but right now I’m strictly a football player and we’ll find out what the future holds,” Lloyd told Sports Illustrated.
The US Women’s National Team perform with a friendly while the Eagles visit with the Jets. Could a girl kick in the NFL? Yes, Lloyd has the leg strength and many others do but sadly it will not happen within this preseason.
